After a flood in our condo, we embarked on a significant renovation after the remediation was complete (also done by Property Worx – very successfully)

We suffered a significant flood in our condo; resulting in an insurance claim of over $300K.

Days after the event – and even before we understood the full extent of the damage and the time it would take to return us to whole – we met with Matt Gartner. That was a good day, in a sea of bad ones.

Matt’s incredible contribution to our restoration is multi-faceted:

· His initial assessment of the damage, and his recommended actions to mitigate further damage, gave us a complete picture of the task ahead of us (which was a lot bigger than we realized)

· He advocated for us with two insurers (ours and the condo corporation) to protect our interests and maximize our claim/coverage – this resulted in a considerably higher payout than the insurers first offered

· Early on he identified a significant risk for future mould and implemented an aggressive mitigation plan; one the insurers initially rejected but ultimately agreed to

· Once the flood remediation was complete, Property Worx then embarked on the restoration work to get us back into our home

After 12 months we finally returned to our home. I can’t imagine how we could have done it without Matt and his amazing resources at Property Worx. The quality of the work is exceptional, and everyone we dealt with was so kind and empathetic about our situation.

Our Family worked with Property Worx in the Fall of 2021 when our home suffered a catastrophic fire. We were referred to Matt and PW as a company we really needed to speak with when it comes to these sort of circumstances.

We hired Property Worx to assist us in handling the insurance claim, working with their Engineers to properly assess our damages and then do all the emergency work.

We had severe damage to our roof, inside of the home with lots of fire, water and mould everywhere. Property Worx then held a meeting with our insurance company to explain the extent of damages needed and the insurance company agreed to raise their value of damages from $259,000 to $425,000.00.
