Clean water caught within a day gives hardwood a real shot with panel drying systems, and drywall that only wicked up a few centimetres can often dry in place. Only if the drying gets skipped or rushed. Mold needs about 24 to 48 hours on wet material to get going, which is exactly why we start drying the day we arrive and check with meters instead of guessing. If mold’s already growing behind a wall, our own remediation crew deals with it under containment. Same job, same file.
